● Settlement of disputes
1. The customer is informed by Garden & City of the possibility of having recourse, in the event of dispute relating to the present general conditions, to a conventional mediation procedure or any other alternative dispute resolution method, under the conditions provided for in Title I of Book VI of the Consumer Code.
2. Right of withdrawal :
In accordance with article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal provided for contracts concluded at a distance does not apply to the provision of accommodation, transport, catering or leisure services which must be provided on a specific date or at a specific time.
As a result, any reservation made on our website, whether it concerns a room, a package or any other service related to tourist accommodation, is firm and definitive as soon as it is confirmed. However, depending on the rate chosen, specific cancellation, modification or refund conditions may apply. These conditions are clearly specified at the time of booking, before payment confirmation. It is the customer's responsibility to read these conditions carefully, and to select the rate that best suits his or her needs.
In the event of a stay being impossible (illness, personal impediment, etc.), the establishment is not obliged to make any refunds outside the conditions laid down. If necessary, the customer is advised to take out travel cancellation insurance with a third party.\nFor any cancellation or modification request, please contact the establishment concerned as soon as possible by telephone or e-mail.
3. Mediator :
In accordance with the provisions of articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, any consumer has the right to have recourse free of charge to a consumer mediator with a view to the amicable resolution of a dispute opposing him or her to a professional, after having first attempted to resolve the dispute directly with the customer service department of the establishment concerned.
In the event of persistent disagreement concerning a reservation or a service provided by Garden & City, the customer may address his complaint in writing directly to:
Garden & City
7 rue d'Italie
13006 MARSEILLE
If no amicable solution is found within 60 days, the customer may then refer the matter free of charge to the competent consumer mediator on which the Garden & City group depends, the Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice, whose contact details are given below:
